Rashid Bahati
Rashid has served as Executive Director of the Bahati Foundation since 2012. Rashid has over 20 plus years of experience in working with and managing cultural arts organizations and not-for-profits.
Rashid is responsible for the integrity and operation of all financial and compliance activities, business development, and outreach programs for the foundation. Under Rashid's leadership, the foundation has grown its revenue by over 120% from donations, corporate support, and grants. In addition, he has placed a high emphasis on developing and implementing the foundation's outreach programs and initiatives designed to serve under-representative youth. Before becoming the executive director, Rashid was the founder and principal of iMedia Marketing Group and served as an advisory board member for Metro Tele-village of LA County, sponsored by Metro Transit Authority (MTA) Los Angeles. Rashid continues to guide the Bahati Foundation foundations in its quest to promote cycling, positive values, and healthy habits and expand access for youth to STREAM and STEM.
Rashid has ensured that the foundation is prefilling its core mission to GiveBack, which also focuses on and addresses' Play Equity' by providing under-represented youth access to sport and play, regardless of race, gender, zip code, or socioeconomic status.
