The Equity Multiplier that has been developed so that funding in public schools in California should go to the lowest performing students which for far too long has been Black students. 84% of Black students are not proficient in Math and 72% are not able to read! So we need all our members to support The Black in School Coalition to ensure that Governor Newsom does the right thing in the May budget and directs that $300 million funding to our Black students now!
